THE BACK NINE — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

THE BACK NINE is a couples golf game developed by Skulls & Strokes LLC. We respect your privacy and believe your time together, your game, and your personal information should remain yours.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use THE BACK NINE mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

THE BACK NINE does not require you to create an account or provide an email address, phone number, or other contact information to play.

Based on the application's current design, Skulls & Strokes LLC does not collect, transmit, or store your gameplay information on company-operated servers.

The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or user-tracking software.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide gameplay features and improve your experience, THE BACK NINE stores certain information locally on your device, including:

  • Player names or nicknames you choose to enter

  • Golf scores and completed-hole information

  • Course names and round history

  • Game preferences, progress, and saved challenges

  • Previously displayed game cards and related gameplay information

This information is used to support gameplay, remember returning players, restore rounds, and display your game history.

This information is not transmitted to Skulls & Strokes LLC.

3. Third-Party Services

THE BACK NINE includes an optional link to a Spotify playlist.

If you choose to open Spotify, you will leave THE BACK NINE and enter Spotify's application or website. Spotify may collect information according to its own privacy practices.

You can review Spotify's privacy policy at:

https://www.spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy/

THE BACK NINE uses locally bundled fonts and does not require downloading fonts from Google during gameplay.

4. Purchases

THE BACK NINE is available as a paid application through Apple's App Store.

Purchases and payment processing are handled by Apple. Skulls & Strokes LLC does not receive your complete payment card information through THE BACK NINE.

Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's applicable privacy policies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Gameplay information is stored locally on your device.

You may remove saved round history using the app's available history-management features.

Deleting the application generally removes its locally stored gameplay information, subject to your device's backup and restoration settings.

Because we do not maintain individual gameplay accounts or store gameplay records on our servers, we cannot retrieve or remotely delete your locally stored round history.

6. Children's Privacy

THE BACK NINE is designed for a mature audience and is not intended for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application.

7. Data Security

THE BACK NINE is designed to minimize data collection by keeping gameplay information on your device rather than transmitting it to external servers.

The security of locally stored information also depends on your device's operating system, security settings, and access controls.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application, applicable laws, or our privacy practices.

Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
