Getting Started

How do we play?

Start a round, choose Quickie 9 or Full 18, select your preferred game vibe, enter your names, and decide who goes first.

Take turns revealing cards as you move through the holes. Complete a challenge, pass, or save a card for later.

Do we have to finish the round?

Absolutely not! During Quickie 9, you'll have opportunities after Holes 4 and 6 to call the game early and head somewhere private together.

Finishing the golf is optional. Having fun together is the point.

Can we change our game vibe?

Choose Naughty or After Dark when setting up a new round.

Troubleshooting

The app closed unexpectedly. What should we do?

Reopen THE BACK NINE and check whether your round is available to resume. If your progress is missing, please contact support with your device model, iOS version, and a description of what happened.

Where can we find our previous rounds?

Tap Course History on the home screen to view saved completed rounds.

Do we need an internet connection?

THE BACK NINE is designed around an on-device couples game experience. External features, such as music and shopping links, require internet access.
